Oh my goodness. Heal quickly. Do u have a scratcher to use when it starts to itch inside the cast? (Hint, if u cant get one at the local pharmacy, I improvised a wire coat hanger with cotton on the end.)
I love stories about Israel that just prove all the haters wrong.
Oh, PS I just posted this line about Jerusalem in notes. Why it came to me? I had felt a sudden need to just put it out there. Someday the angel looking over my shoulder will tell me.
My nurse hat is on: be very, very, VERY careful what you poke up under your cast. If you break the skin, the infection risk is considerable and in a place you cannot treat it. OK, ok, nurse Ratchet hat is off.
We come and spend at least 3/6 months a year at Home. We live in Moshava Germanit. One of our four children live in Modiin the other four in New Jersey.
Am of the opinion that anywhere a person davens in Yerushalayim is a direct line. My learning is so much better my demeanor - everything. I miss it every day I’m not there
Sorry for your fracture, the healing phase is such lousy thing. I really appreciated your inclusion of your Arab attendants for the reasons you state. I'll repost to FB and perhaps a few here will get a clue.
Gee, I'd think mezuzahs on restroom doors would be perfect - a lot of meditating occurs on the big white throne.
Here's a hug for speedy healing and rapid lefthand learning. Your post is a great distraction from the anxieties of tikkun olam. Thank you. (See my reply to EKB).

I always love your comments and posts. You are a wise woman.
Thank you.

IDO appreciate this warning. I would not have known. I tried using a straw, but that didn’t help much. In any case, everything is good.
It is HOME no matter where we dwell physically

Of course!
Although I admit it hurts that we are not there and that I don’t have the courage - one can only hope
Interesting. I’m more scared when I travel abroad. Sometime soon, hopefully, you will daven at the Tateh (the Kotel) and the Mameh (Kever Rachel)…
Even breaking your right wrist in 2 places doesn't stop you, Linda!
You are an amazing writer & fighter.
